A Thin Thread: Drawings & Paintings by
Rumi Koshino & Mugi Takei
Opens July 27th, preview with the artists from 6 to 8 pm and continuing through August 18th.
Gouache and pencil drawings by Mugi Takei and watercolor paintings by Rumi Koshino - new work by both artists - explore symbols and memories of human connection - across generations, through the spirit world, dreams, and in souvenirs of old-fashioned, hand-mailed correspondence.

The general esthetic of my work has shifted since the previous show. It still speaks about (spiritual?) invisible links among people, generations, people&memories, events, etc… in the collective aloneness we live in which could also become massive oneness and complete wholeness! I’m extremely grateful and honored for the opportunity to show with Miss Rumi Koshino. I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to all my friends and family. Especially to Beth Cullom. I’ll be at the opening. So will the talented Miss Rumi Koshino. Please, come join us if you are in the area! xo
