Do you remember? we were in the car driving back to the city it was late at night neither of us was talking I was staring at the headlights reflected and running on the dark highway in the reflections of the lights I was seeing visions of my future and past the car was going fast many visions were passing by me quickly like fast-forwarded movies the visions of the past were fading like ghosts and collapsing into the darkness of the night soon the vivid future became the only thing I could see I saw myself in 10 years and 20 years from now even though I was content with what I saw I sulked a little for my fading youth after a few tears I suddenly felt confident I no longer feared the future I was confident I was moving way faster than the past could ever catch up that night I decided to leave you.
