my show at Cullom Gallery in Seattle has been extended through April 30.
Beth Cullom did such an amazing job installing my drawings (over 100 pieces!) and created a one (or maybe two) person projection room with Mark for my animation pieces. I would like to thank Beth and Mark for all the wonderful work. Come meet my work at Cullom! and maybe me.

i think my greatest artistic influence was my younger brother. as a child he was always drawing. he would make up strange stories and create drawings to go with them and then add crazy details, almost obsessive, but in a 4 year old's cute way of course. my favorite story was one of a rich little girl and her outrageous pet guinea pig, Angela. they live in a mansion (with her rich clueless grandma) surrounded by lots of sweets, ribbons and fluffy girly stuff. the guinea pig was super spoiled. she was given a bunch of pretty dresses and a diamond collar or something. yes, he was drawing all this stuff. he later became a comic artist. i'm proud of him.

my ability to see ghosts

when I was a child the snake lady told me I had the eyes to see ghosts she said therefore I must be careful she said I must be afraid I never saw ghosts I never saw ghosts growing up I never saw ghosts until the baby came it’s not true I always saw ghosts everywhere just like any other things I just couldn’t tell them apart ghosts and other things I saw ghosts everywhere I was never lonely my breasts rounder my hair darker I was a young girl I had a lover  the lover took me to the naked forest at night I was seeing ghosts everywhere they were walking, looking, saying something just like anyone else they were everywhere in the naked forest when the lover was kissing my breasts I didn’t close my eyes I didn’t want them to see me my closed eyes the lover and I went to the naked forest at night we made love ghosts everywhere I never closed my eyes the baby came in the spring the baby was born in blood I couldn’t tell it was my blood or the baby’s the baby was meowing so red like a kitten the nurse lady picked it up  from the blood water the baby was like a chunk of flesh then I knew it was my blood I was seeing ghosts in the room and outside the windows they were everywhere the nurse lady passed the baby into my arms as holding the baby meowing louder and louder so red I began to see ghosts as ghosts apart from other things apart from so called living things ghosts were white bodies like lights there was blood everywhere
