Beth Cullom did such an amazing job installing my drawings (over 100 pieces!) and created a one (or maybe two) person projection room with Mark for my animation pieces. I would like to thank Beth and Mark for all the wonderful work. Come meet my work at Cullom! and maybe me.
i think my greatest artistic influence was my younger brother. as a child he was always drawing. he would make up strange stories and create drawings to go with them and then add crazy details, almost obsessive, but in a 4 year old's cute way of course. my favorite story was one of a rich little girl and her outrageous pet guinea pig, Angela. they live in a mansion (with her rich clueless grandma) surrounded by lots of sweets, ribbons and fluffy girly stuff. the guinea pig was super spoiled. she was given a bunch of pretty dresses and a diamond collar or something. yes, he was drawing all this stuff. he later became a comic artist. i'm proud of him.
